Clay Cake and Cake Comparison
A wedding cake is the traditional cake served to the guests at a wedding reception after a wedding. Achieving a dense, strong cake that can support the decorations while remaining edible can be considered the epitome of the baker’s art and skill. Now in common wedding, every culture also present cake in their wedding. While planning for the wedding, there are few types of wedding cake presentation that you can take into consideration. Fresh Cream Cake , Artificial Cake, and Clay Cake are already well known in the market. There will be different meaning by choosing among of them. Lets compare the pro and cons.
Fresh Cake
- Pros- Good for serving , Order Lead Time is fast, Easy to get in Any Cake shop.
- Cons – Cannot Keep, must serve within few hours, will melt in hot conditions.
Artificial Cake /Dummy Cake
- Pros- Expensive if you buy yourself, normally hotel or restaurant provide it FREE in the package, Can keep for few months in certain conditions. Can do more floral design on it.
- Cons- Order Lead Time is slow, not every cake shop know or even willing to sell it.
Clay Cake
Pros – Looks real but not real, Can Keep for years! Good for a wedding gift for friends. After party can become souvenir.
Cons- Order Lead Time is slow, difficult to find, Very Expensive!
