During Tang dynasty, people was living on the boat using old oil lamp. In 19th Century, International attention to Shanghai was growing due to European recognition of its economic and trade potential at the Yangtze River. During the First Opium War (1839–1842), British forces occupied the city. Yet shanghai becomes international trading location. Before Shanghai become an industrial center, People were riding bicycle as their transportation . And there are a lot of historical & antique which we need not forget how our items today come from such as our smart phone, mp3 player, mountain bike, etc. Hereby, let’s reverse back to our old Shanghai Night..

In the fast-paced world we live in, everyone these days have forgotten about a lot of the wonderful things that used to be a part of our lives. In the name of progress, we have lost a lot of our traditions, our cultural awareness and even our most precious child-hood memories. Granted, there have been several resurrections of heritage experiences such as the whole Kopitiam boom and the emergence of countless White Coffee brands that claim they have been around since forever. The problem is these so-called heritage resurrections often feel a bit forced and missing a lot of the magic from the past.
The wedding preparation is very tough as we need to filter all the vendor’s capabilities such as Food & Beverages, equipment, venue, performance, etc. A lot of studies and design brainstorming was gone through during design and development process. We feel thankful to all the vendors, and also the Bride and Groom – Evelyn & Kelvin , together achieved the most challenging milestone for the perfect wedding with holding true the theme – Homage to our Past.

David Brown’s Restaurant is one of the very special restaurant in penang. When you reach the air hitam Penang Hill or Bukit Bendera, you will see the train ticket selling station. This station is still in micro manage system as they need your IC or passport. Therefore, do not forget to bring along your passport if you are the foreigners. After you take the train and going up to penang hill until the last station, you need to walk about 5 mins and reach David Brown’s Restaurant.
